LIVE EVENT - Treating Alzheimer’s and other Dementias with Chinese Medicine

Course Overview

This is a Live Webinar event that will be held on December 13, 2020 - 9pm GMT, 10pm CET, 11pm IST. 5.5 million Americans have Alzheimer’s disease. Currently, considered the the 6th most common cause of death in the United States, but according to the National Institute of Health, it should be ranked third (https://www.nia.nih.gov/health/alzheimers-disease-fact-sheet). While the most common form of dementia, there are lots of different types other than Alzheimer’s. This course will examine these dementias from both biomedical and Chinese points of view, and discuss Chinese medical diagnostics and therapeutics. Often biomedical treatment involves pharmaceuticals with adverse drug reactions. Chinese medicine can help treat and support patients with dementia. Participants will leave with a real-world approach to treating these conditions. The recordings will be made available for you to review after the event!

  • Understand Alzheimer’s and other dementias from a biomedical perspective
  • Apply Chinese and biomedical diagnostics to patients with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias
