Dr. Armin Koch, M.D., received his teaching certificate from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland in 1978. He then went on to pursue Medical studies at the Universities of Fribourg and Berne, Switzerland and completed his Medical Board Exams and Ph.D in 1986. Dr. Koch has been a general practitioner (FMH) since 1993, and completed his Master’s Degree Equivalency in Acupuncture and Herbology from the International Institute of Chinese Medicine (IICM), Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA in 2001.
Dr. Armin Koch has a practice in Traditional Chinese Medicine in Sarnen, Switzerland, and he teaches Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Universities of Zurich and Berne. In addition, he is a well-known speaker at different national and international congresses. As a professional teacher, Dr. Koch is especially adept at explaining and illustrating the complex connections involved in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
