Moxabox set with activated charcoal filter and plaster insulation. Official teaching aid at the renowned Meiji University (Kyoto, Japan).
High-quality moxa box from Japan for an optimum heat effect. Also ideal for smoke-sensitive patients and therapists.
The gypsum insulation (2) on the inside of the box acts as a heat accumulator. It absorbs the initially high combustion heat and releases it again later. The result is an ideal heat curve.
The U-shaped grid can be turned so that the distance to the skin is either 3 or 4.5 cm. This allows the heat intensity to be regulated.
The activated charcoal filter (1) is reusable: After approx. 20 uses, loosen the wing screws on the lid and replace the filter. Simply rinse the used filter under clean water and air dry. Distribute the activated carbon evenly in the filter cover. The filter is then ready for use again.
