GB 3 moxa therapy device as an alternative to traditional moxibustion
This electric moxa device replaces the use of traditional moxa.
Safe and easy to operate! No risk of burns from glowing ashes, no odour or smoke.
It can be used through clothing or directly on the skin. The infrared heat promotes local blood circulation and is effective where the warming of deeper tissue is required.
The thermal effect is comparable with burning moxa:
- 1,000 - 1,700 nm (1.0 - 1.7 um) = excellent (approx. 40 - 45°C)
- 4,000 - 4,500 nm (4 - 4.5 um) = very good (approx. 40°C)
- 6,500 - 7,500 nm (6.5 - 7.5um) = good (approx. 35°C)
The stand allows the moxa device to be precisely positioned.
Note: Ensure a sufficientdistance between the infrared heat lamp and the body surface!
- Optimum skin temperature: 40 - 45°C (at room temperature)
- Power supply: input voltage: 100-240 VAC, 0.6 A, 50-60 Hz Output voltage: 24 VDC 1.04 A
- Electric output: 20 W
- Timer: 10 minutes or continuously with an acoustic signal at the end of the set treatment time
Safety precautions
- Control thermostat (temperatur 40 - 45°C)
- Thermal fuses 2A 102C and 2A125V
